  • Father requested all commission reports be submitted in letterform one week prior to Parish Council meetings.
  • Cheryl Clayton will mail various reports in to each member of the Council for review before the meetings.
  • Questions (from reports) to be brought to Parish Council meetings.  This should help streamline the meetings.
  • Parish Council meeting notices will also be sent out in letterform.

  • Father requested inaccuracies be corrected and resubmitted.
  • It was suggested the Layette program be put on hold for now.

 Finance:

  • $10,000 above after the Holidays.  The generosity of the Parish is clear.
  • The six-month reports have been completed for both the Parish/School.  Figures are pleasing for all.
  • If the generosity continues, projects may finish before projected dates.  This will allow the Parish to put some money in the bank and to possibly reinstate the school subsidy sooner than planned.
  • The roof will be replaced and insulated, estimated cost over $90,000.
  • Furnace will also be replaced in 2007.  Hope for completion with both projects by July 2007.
  • The heating bills have been averaging $2ooo monthly, with a light winter so far.

The next Parish Council Meeting will be in May, will set a date when the time draws closer.   Cheryl will prepare the agenda once all the committee notes have been received.

Terms will expire this year for Dennis Palgen and Ron Ostrowski.  Discussed putting the information in the bulletin for those who may be interested.

Bob Dorstewitz can donate office chairs if needed; his daughter runs a small company we could get them from.

Closing Blessing:  Father Comporese gave the final Blessing closing the meeting.

Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully submitted:  Pat Snow / JoAnn Biegler
